Maggie Thurber broke the news this evening that according to a Sixth Circuit federal judge, Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner is breaking federal law by not enabling county elections boards to cross-check their registrations against BMV and Social Security databases.

McCain got warm on government’s involvement in the economy, but it could have been better. Relied less on populism than Sarah Palin did, and that’s a good thing. Stayed away from Ayers and stayed on message with policy. The government buying a lot of homes is not a good idea from McCain.

Let’s see, House is at 8pm Eastern, while the debate is 9pm. I guess I’ll liveblog it, but I’ll have to keep potential projectiles out of arm’s reach.
McCain’s attacks against Barack Obama’s relationship with William Ayers aren’t working, especially since Obama counters with the more financially relevant Keating 5 scandal.
