Friday’s opinion page in the Newark (Ohio) Advocate contained a letter from a person worried that using the term Xmas in writing and speech was taking Christ out of Christmas.

I’ve been staying at one of the Wingate Inns in Houston this week. Normally I have had good experiences with Wingate Inns, one of the first chains to offer high speed internet access in all their properties.
This week, though, has not been such a good experience.
