Military chaplains have a tremendous responsibility, so it was an honor and a pleasure to see Chaplain Matthew Boarts host the sixty-fourth edition of the Lutheran Carnival. Chaplain Boarts relays the story of another chaplain who saved men in the 101st Airborne from a German grenade using the Lord’s Prayer. Thy kingdom come, indeed.

Done and redone until she got it right, Barb the Evil Genius has posted the sixty-third edition of the Lutheran Carnival. This edition of the carnival features George Washington’s Thanksgiving proclamation.
