I pick up this book a couple years ago cause the title intrigued me. I think I read it in three sittings and loved it. My son has schizophrenia.

Carol, thank you. I changed the terms “autism sufferer” to “person/child with autism.” My daughter doesn’t suffer, either.

We do not suffer from autism…we do suffer from other people’s ill treatment and misunderstandings.

I loved this book. It reminded me a lot of the autistic boy I had the pleasure of being a camp counselor for ages ago.
