The forty-first edition of the Lutheran Carnival will be held here on January 14. The deadline for posts is January 12, 10pm EST/7pm PST to give everyone a couple of extra hours and to address the reality that I will be putting kids to bed at the customary deadline time. 
There are those fortunate bloggers who have continuing fonts of inspiration for posts, so they don’t need a topic. If you need one, I’ve got one for you, appropriate for this forum:
If you’re feeling like a little Garrison Keillor, perhaps you might consider a Young Lutheran’s Guide to Sports: “If our Lord had played a sport/position, which one would He have chosen?” Show your work.
You are welcome to submit two posts of your own and two posts from another confessional Lutheran blogger to lutherancarnival AT gmail.com. With the two-and-two exception, contributions should follow the rules.
With the football season coming to a close, let’s make this a champion carnival.
