Random Dan on the Lutheran Carnival vaterblog has published Lutheran Carnival XL, featuring one of my favorite medieval composers, Michael Praetorius. Like the Aardvark, I was playing Praetorius’s Christmas Mass over the holidays.
True to its name, the Carnival is eXtra Large. Thanks, Dan, for your work in putting it together and adjusting one of my descriptions to make it sound better. I do have a quarrel with his liking of Tim Horton’s. While the donuts and sandwiches are indeed better than Starbucks, Tim Horton’s iced cappuccinos are worthless. If you don’t drink them in the first minute and get an ice cream headache, the coffee gets sucked through the straw and leaves the ice. Starbucks blends their frappucinos much better.
