Reuters reports that the British government wants to install panic rooms in the homes of those suffering from domestic violence.
Communities Secretary Ruth Kelly will announce new guidance to local councils on how to set up the schemes later on Tuesday, said a spokesman for the Department for Communities and Local Government. It will also give 74 million pounds of funding.
My condolences for those who have been abused, but what an avoidance of consequence. If a panic room needs to be built, let him or her pay for it and see that bad behavior can have financial results.
