Necessary Roughness

I’m a little disappointed in myself. This was the first Carnival where I didn’t submit an entry. Between Thanksgiving, the trip to Cleveland, removing baby gates, and touching up paint, I ran out of time.

Chaplain Matt Boarts, stationed in Japan, has delivered the thirty-eighth edition of the Lutheran Carnival at his blog, Living Sermons. He links to a local legend, that Jesus escaped crucifixion and settled in Japan. Not to knock Japan, but that would have been a real bummer.
