Random Dan has finished the second Lutheran Carnival and has handed the duties off to the Alaskan Intolerant Elle. After the Aardvark shows how a pastor handles this circus act, the Carnival arrives here, just in time for the first week of the regular season of the National Football League.

Each post will get an icon from my userpics collection. If you’re new to the blog, the icons attempt to fit as best they can the nature of the post. If a submitter critiques something, they may get a “false start”, “encroachment”, etc. flag. It doesn’t necessarily mean the submitter earned the flag, but instead the object of critique. If they are extoling something, or a post itself needs extoling, there will be “points scored”. Perhaps if the post fits the theme, extra points will be scored. :)

Flags and points are reviewable in the comments. Unlike the NFL, there is no limit to the number of reviews. :)
