(or Terror Condition Ernie)
Going through security this morning at Columbus wasn’t a big deal. Continental flyers got to go through their special EliteAccess baggage screening line, but everyone goes through the same metal detector where there used to be two. Cost cutting, I suppose.
Southwest customers weren’t so lucky. A lot of people were flying SWA today, so their skycap and check-in lines were jammed.
My laptop bag fared OK, but they found a small bottle of hand lotion in my book bag. I hadn’t checked that one over. I hope they enjoy it; I wasn’t willing to go back to the ticket counter and check it.
At least I’m not sitting in some A-B-C line.

Fortunately, these TSA restrictions are expected to relax in the next few weeks. If you were a woman, you would already be allowed to take lipstick with you onboard.
That was one of the rediculous items that previously was not allowed.
