I wish this were simply ripped off of the Onion’s headlines.

AP reports that Pat Robertson says he has leg pressed 2000 pounds. The record for FSU football players is 665 lbs. One picture is stamped 1994.

CBN spokeswoman Angell Vasko said Friday that Robertson was not available for comment because he was “out of pocket” for the long holiday weekend.

Whose pocket?

Please tell me someone hacked his web site. This is too sad to be true.

   Actually, I know a guy who can squat 880 or so lbs. Leg press is different. I’ve seen guys press well over a thousand, but never 2000lbs.

   I believe he did it…in 200 lb. increments.

   Although I’ve never heard insanity put this way, this guy’s been “out of pocket” for a long, long time.
