This morning we headed down to Crown Center and visited Crayola World, the Crayola store and cafe. I learned a couple of things, such as in 1962 Crayola changed their “flesh” color to “peach”. Over 100 billion crayons have been sold.

Our favorite products are the Color Wonder series, which use some fun chemistry to make sure color only shows when the proper pen/fingerpaint is put to the proper paper, and not to the walls. :)

Specialty Products

Some products I don’t usually see in Wal-Mart:

In the upper left corner, one will see the set of eight “multicultural” colors for various flesh tones. On the back of the package, it suggests doing caveman drawings with the colors.

Other products include fabric markers and “ScentSations” markers (top row, box of 10).

The cafe operated by Hyatt served good food and had good service. They even serve crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Of course there were placemats to color.
