The twenty-first edition of the Lutheran Carnival will be held here at the LC Gridiron. RandomDan has suggested a deadline of April 7, 7pm Central Daylight Time, which means we have four weeks less one hour to get some posts in. XXI will be kicked off on Palm Sunday.
Lutheran Carnival rules can be found on the mother site’s “How do I enter?” and “a few more rules” pages. Because of the greater potential for source material the following “house rules” will be in play:
- One may submit up to four links instead of the usual two.
- Special consideration may be given for third-party submissions if the submitter doesn’t have a blog of his/her own and if the author has already posted on the Carnival. It is up to the submitter to link to the previous Carnival post that shows the author so that I can verify it. For the reasons on this, see the “few more rules” post.
- Peer pressure to get others to submit their posts is allowed and encouraged. This isn’t exactly a rules change; call it a point of emphasis.
Recently submitters have waited until the last minute to submit their posts. This produces some wear and anxiety on the part of the host. Go ahead and send links a week before and then send some others in later. Thanks to all our participants!
