Necessary Roughness

We made it home safely, with a caveat: While we were in Hershey a couple of days ago, someone pointed out that one of our tires looked low, and we filled it. I didn’t see anything, so we carried on. Halfway home today my father-in-law did notice that a nail had punctured the tire, but the rubber had sealed around the nail, preventing a flat. We put a slight overpressure on the tire and made it home safely. I’m going to get the tire fixed tomorrow.
