The twins and four adults (minimum for any sort of long distance travel in my opinion) head into Pennsylvania tomorrow. We’ll end up back in Ohio either Sunday or Monday. I don’t know if there will be more entries between now and then, but the laptop is coming with me. Unfortunately Gettysburg is not in our agenda, but when the kids are older I’m sure we’ll want to make it there.
This will be the first big trip for the twins in almost two years; before we could just give them a bottle and trust them to sleep on the plane. We figure about 75 diapers will be harmed in the making of this vacation; our apologies in advance to environmentalists. The van has a DVD player built in, but it may not be necessary at times as the twins have some of the DVDs memorized. This was a good time for gas prices to drop around here.
We’re also praying for those in Hurricane Rita’s path. At least Galveston was able to get the buses going. I hope as many people as possible take required precautions without waiting for a government agency to do it for them.
