When in Houston I like to get a meal at Pappasito’s Cantina, which thankfully has arrived at Houston-Hobby for this time when I flew Southwest. I get some fajita tacos and a frozen margarita. When things are timed right, I get on the plane, find my seat, snooze, and when I wake up, I’m 20,000 feet and climbing.

Except this time when I woke up the plane was still on the tarmac. Apparently there was a large amount of air traffic over Houston, and the airport was at a ground stop for about an hour. We finally took off, and I barely made the connection in Nashville. The 10 of us got on the plane with some stares. We thanked the crew for waiting for us and explained the traffic jam to those inconvenienced. :)
