I was able to avoid the line at the Southwest Airlines counter by checking in online yesterday and using the outside skycap, which only had a line of 20 or so.

Travelers with luggage over 50 pounds as well as people who had not electronically checked in had to wait in line at the ticket counter for Southwest Airlines in Columbus. The line extended to the North Entrance of the airport. WSYX-TV Channel 6 had a crew there.
