Visited two NTN Trivia locations tonight. Catbirds in Downtown Houston is another place that regularly posts nationally high rankings. The place though is very small, and unless you like popcorn, there’s nothing to eat there. In order to get their high scores, the three smart people play double consoles. Cheaters. I left before the premium game, Passport, came on.

In case of such an “emergency”, though, I had maps of two other NTN sites in southwest Houston. I visited Knuckleheads, a sports bar with some real food. They serve wings, and their “extra hot” wing sauce has horseradish in it. I thought that was rather novel, and the sauce puffs my lips without making me break out into a full cry. Good stuff. They also serve steak and sandwiches, and I will have to return to try those out. Best of all, the pitchers are $6 on Monday; only beatable at Longview’s Sports Page.
