As part of a television and newspaper campaign to counter its image in the press, Halliburton has reserved spots on various channels and dates for three 30- and 60-second commercial bites, as well as purchased space in major newspapers.
Newspaper ads have been bought in WSJ, Washington Post, NYT, major news papers in Houston, Dallas, and Denver, and some others. Television spots have been placed on 17 cable networks, including Fox News, ESPN, TNT, and even Comedy Central and Bravo. The ads can be downloaded from Halliburton’s corporate web site—click the “Proud.” ad at the top.
