I woke up this morning at 6 to my cell phone ringing. The Caller ID said “Home”, so I answered it. “Hello?”

I heard a TV in the background, but no response. Then I heard one of the twins (now 2 years and almost 2 months old) singing into the phone.

“Hey, baby, is that you? Did you call Daddy?”

More singing.

Apparently she had grabbed the bedside phone and hit the Redial button which had my cell number. I let this go on for a minute and a half. I tried to be loud so that an adult would hear and pick up the phone on the other end, but to no avail. Good thing I have a cell number local to Ohio. I wouldn’t mind if it happened again, even if it was a half hour earlier than my alarm. I probably should have let it go on longer.
