Necessary Roughness

Pataskala (OH) Standard: “Thieves target pro-police levy political signs”

“Pataskala resident Evangeline Fouras is bewildered because someone has been stealing pro-police levy signs from her yard.”

Ok…

“Fouras, however, believes the thieves likely oppose the police levy.”

Bingo! Thieves opposing a police levy, imagine that.

“Even the mayor has not been immune to the thefts. Baird has had a total of nine signs stolen from his property.”

I’m not sure I’d be waiting to take action until after the ninth theft. I’d have the sign surrounded with trip wire or have some switch that takes pictures. How about electrifying the metal sign posts? Contact cement? Dogs?
