I killed a roach that was hiding out in the bathtub in my hotel room. I would have taken a picture, but he’s one with the newspaper now.

Jerry Rice joins the Denver Broncos for a year. Good for him; if someone’s willing to pay the salary, he should just keep cashing the checks. He says it will be his last year. I think he will make more of an impact mentoring than catching the ball; since they have characters like Maurice Clarett and Todd Sauerbrun, the attitude can only go up. Ashley Lelie doesn’t like to go over the middle, so either Rod Smith (no spring chicken himself) or Rice may have to take some hits from Kansas City’s upgraded secondary.
