Happy Birthday to the Church, nearly 2000 years old. Today the home church did Divine Service 3 out of LSB, and among the hymns we sang 489, “Hail Thee, Festival Day.” I was drafted to sing the hymn with a microphone to lead the congregation.

Also, Happy Mother’s Day to Mom and the Mother-in-Law, both whom at times I make proud and at other times I make crazy. Hopefully I do more of the former than the latter. My kids’ mom, I just make crazy. :)
