The AP reports that Maryland’s highest court ruled that if a woman decides during sex that she doesn’t want to have sex, and the male continues, it’s rape even if she said yes in the first place.

That actually makes a little sense to me. But read the article for how that decision needed to be codified into law:

  1. Woman has sex with one man (and the article doesn’t mention anything about being married)
  2. Previously convicted rapist asks woman if he could also “hit that”
  3. Woman says yes to previously convicted rapist
  4. Woman changes her mind in the middle, and he continues for five to 10 more seconds.

If I’m a citizen of Maryland, I’m feeling defrauded of my tax money. This was not some case of some girl wearing a skirt too high and a man claiming that was an invitation.
