The signal for illegal block is similar to “illegal cut”, which this article deserves.

AP reports that Schick was granted a preliminary injunction against Gillette for Gillette’s claims about their M3Power razor to lift while cutting.

Schick is a division of St. Louis-based Energizer Holdings Inc., and is the world’s second-largest maker of wet shave products behind Gillette. Schick-Wilkinson Sword president Joe Lynch said Gillette’s claims for the M3Power “go well beyond the capabilities of the products.

“We firmly believe that since the day the M3Power was launched a year ago, Gillette has deceived consumers about the performance of this product,” Lynch said.

But Szynal said the computer-generated image of the razor lifting hair away from the skin was never meant to be taken literally.

I own an M3Power, and while I got my razor for free, I have bought the refills, which are the most expensive of the Mach 3 series. Even after trying it again, I had felt that the performance was close to the Mach 3 Turbo series. There seems to be some justification behind that opinion now. The refills, which have an extra aloe vera strip at the top, do feel more comfortable than the other styles of blades. Perhaps I’ll take the AAA battery out of the razor handle and put it in my belt-clip-sized radio.
