Necessary Roughness

Licking County, Ohio, has reported 100% of all precincts as of 23:12pm Eastern time. I am happy to report that our school income tax and bond issue failed, 39.74 to 60.26 percent.

Hillary Clinton won our district in the Democratic primary, 57.34-40.78-1.87 percent, the remainder going to John Edwards. Ron Paul came in third at just under 6%, but McCain won pretty handily at 54%. The more money Clinton and Obama spend on each other, the better.

I didn’t know until it was too late that our Congressman Pat Tiberi had a challenger in the Republican primary. David Ryon essentially touted Ron Paul’s views. Tiberi would have crushed him anyway, but it would have been nice to see an economics and freedom debate.
