		<description>The judge not thing is also more clearly understood not just in light of the entire scripture, but in light of the near context, which indicates that we are, in fact, to judge: "and when you judge," etc.  

The point is not to never make a moral judgment, but to be careful what one's reference for judgment is. We should apply the same standard to ourselves that we apply to others... and that objective standard is, of course, the word of God. Just like specks and logs. It doesn't say to never ever take the speck out; it just says take your log out FIRST.</description>
