Pastor Wilken is especially revered here in the haut south as he is the first one of the “big dogs” to stumble upon the Ablaze! firefighter accidentally by a Google search. I’m sure that makes him reviled in many a circle. Regardless, I think his contribution to serious theological dialogue and discussion all too often goes unnoticed and is a perfect choice for the Carnival. Wow, a living Lutheran!
