I like your thoughts for the feast, but I'd offer a twist.  The Creed speaks of the coming of our Lord to judge the living and the dead.

I don't think that means "those alive" and "those in the ground."  I think it means those alive by faith in him, whether their bodies are breathing now or decayed in the earth.  Similar those who are dead apart from him, whether they are walking around or lying in the dust.  Let us take seriously the words of our Lord:  "And whoever lives and believes in Me will never die."  

Paul dead?  No way!  He's alive!!!  So too all who share his faith in the Lamb who suffered for the sins of the world and rose again in victory to clothe us in His resurrection glory.
