WLWT Cincinnati reports:
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio state Gov. Ted Strickland announced today a 4.2 percent decrease in income tax for all citizens in the 2008 year. This decrease comes as part of a phase in a 21-percent plan to cut income tax, which will be completed by the 2009 tax year.
Pretty sweet. Props to the state legislature for getting this done, too. I’m cynical as to what was raised in order to “balance” this cut, but this is good news.

Hey now! I don’t want the *state* to spend wildly! I want to spend that whopping 4.2 percent wildly on me. Or my family.
