I wish they had shown up on the camera. There were some clouds over the Book Cliffs that looked like they were pouring off the mountaintops, just like when liquid nitrogen chills the air when jetted, or when dry ice bubbles in water and vapor forms over the water. Guess you'll just have to trust me. :)
