Got to watch the kids play soccer today. They may not be able to contest the ball yet, but both of them have a nice throw-in range for their age.
I did an ABA session with the younger daughter and saw two new cool things. If I told her to throw a ball, she’d do it soccer-style, two hands overhead. If I told her “throw ball one hand”, then she understood that I wanted a baseball throw rather than a soccer throw. She can throw a ball one-handed now.
I was also informed that she was working on taking her shirt off without help. Today we got that done, and she was able to remove her shirt eight times. She found two different ways of achieving that, which was kind of funny.
This evening: Compline at the piano, both kids tucked in bed with their prayers. Downstairs is relatively clean. Dishes are washed. Table is clean. Floor is swept. Woo-hoo. ![]()
