My twin babies went to their first day of school at a nearby private preschool that earned high praise from my younger daughter’s psychologist. My younger daughter goes with an aide to help her out sometimes.
The aide had an interesting report. My daughter refused to go with the class to find the restrooms; it was probably too much that was new for her.
She participated in a class game where they all sat in a circle and rolled a ball to each other. The first time they played, the kids were to say their name and their favorite animal as they caught and rolled the ball. My daughter refused. The second time around, they were only required to say their favorite color. My daughter caught the ball, said, “Blue!” and rolled the ball away as part of the game. Very cool. Not a bad choice of color, either. ![]()
