Before driving back down to Denver, I attended the early service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Gillette, WY.
Trinity is home to another blogger, Rev. Jared Tucher, but I actually spoke more with the senior pastor, Rev. Scott Firminhac.
The Service was LSB Divine Service I, but they are going to use Divine Service IV in the fall. They had a soloist sing the Gloria in Excelsis from DS4 instead of everyone singing the Gloria from DS1.
I would have stayed for Bible study, but all Bible study and normal Sunday School-type activities were moved to Wednesday night, moving the second service earlier to 10am.
Pastor Firminhac preached the sermon, all of which can be found on their CTS MemberConnect site. No membership necessary. ![]()

Dan, it was nice to have you in worship this morning. I’m sorry that you had to leave so quickly after church and that we didn’t get a chance to talk more. God bless your travels.
