Every time I think about buying Halliburton stock, I remember the admonition by Jim Cramer not to “chase” stocks. Halliburton has been climbing, and it’s bound to peak, right?

So then Halliburton jumps $4 today to $52-53 on second quarter earnings reports (webcast) that we’ve made $1 Billion in six months. Ah, to have $10,000 in stock back when it was $9 a share…

Even the embattled KBR unit earned awards from the U.S. Army Field Support Command, earning $72 million in performance bonuses.

As an “indirect expense”, I have to say kudos to the men and women who make the money. :)
