The four of us went to the Pataskala Street Fair along with my parents-in-law. Both our daughters behaved quite well until it was time to go; we did keep them up past their bedtime.

The fair became embroiled in a controversy where the local fire station was not allowed to continue the fund-raising method featured in past fairs: gambling. According to state law it had to be done on private property.
