What a cool run the NBC show “Heroes” has had. Every show has been awesome, and I’m glad we’ve been able to record the times I’ve missed. The writing, special effects, and actors have been terrific. The commentary on the web site has been cool too, whenever the bandwidth allows.
It’s a nice thing to see a series that sacrifices quantity for quality rather than the other way around. It will hard to keep it up for Volume Two.

Yeah, we can only hope that season 2 is as good. I’m stocking up on popcorn now. I kinda wish they had done a 2-hour season finale. The “finale” for L&O:CI sucked.

An interesting factoid for you:
A few of the writers for Heroes are vehement Christians who attend Mosiac, Erwin McManus’ church. I wouldn’t know that except for listening to one of McManus’ podcasts the other day.

The finale was pretty good although there were a few plot holes. I hope Nathan, Peter and Matt all manage to survive. Somehow.

Why couldn’t Sylar just die? There’s still the bogeyman to contend with. During the scene with the girl who says the bogeyman can see her, I thought, “Sauron?”
Jack Coleman is awesome. Plays the “evil” Mr. Bennett early on, and makes the transition to good father believable.
An interesting thing I was mulling over…if Sylar were to kill Peter Petrelli, would Sylar use his or Peter’s method of talent acquisition?
