Jay Carey, spokesman for the Ohio state Health Department announced Wednesday that the department would seek from a legislative panel the approval of new rules that would allow smoking in veterans’ halls and other private clubs.
There are still some who are unhappy; the Smoke Free Ohio organization still believes private clubs should not be exempt and their employees should still be “protected.” Never mind that employment in this country is still a free contract between two consenting parties, and one can choose whether or not they wish to work in such an environment.
Congratulations on your victory, Veterans of Foreign Wars. We still need your help defending our freedoms stateside.
