We had been planning for some time, saving, etc., for the NR Wife and I to get iPod Touch for our birthdays in July. 8GB really didn’t seem to do justice if we wanted to put movies on them, but the retail price was straining the budget for two 16GB iPods.
Then NR Wife gets lucky and finds a listing on Craigslist, 15 minutes old, of someone in the Columbus area who bought a 16GB iPod Touch for his brother, and his brother didn’t want it. He was offering it for $75 below retail. We called, met him, examined the unbroken iPod package, and paid him. I opened the package, and everything looked legit. We got home, and it works. Networking, playing, everything just works.
So now this song’s in my head.

Update, July 19th: She did it again, this time getting one for $100 off of retail. This is crazy. She said, “I’m not sure we ever want to shop retail again!”
