LCMS Withdraws Opposition to Issues Trademark

I saw this last night in one of the blog’s comments, but the US trademark database was down when I tried to verify it myself.

It seems that the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod has in fact withdrawn its opposition to Harry Madsen’s petition for the trademark, “for reasons unrelated to the merits of this proceeding.”

Whatever the reason, this listener thanks the LCMS for doing the right thing. Thank you, the Board of Directors.
