I’ve just checked with my bosses; no plans for Dubai for my software group. It could mean we’re just not close enough to Chairman of the Board/CEO/President Lesar, but I’m not complaining.

The Executive Leadership Team has changed locations two or three times in the past few years, and it hasn’t affected our division’s operations. I’ve no insider knowledge as to what is going on, but one has to speculate that even when KBR goes completely independent, legislators would still give HAL some grief.

HAL has had presence in Dubai for a long time; we’ve had training centers there for at least 10 years. I can hope that the move lowers the cost of doing business and boosts our profit-sharing. :)
