Preschool has had one immediate effect; those kids go to bed fast. Their afternoon naps gone, we need to get the girls to bed sooner. It’s kind of hard though with Grey’s Anatomy and the vice that is Big Brother All-Stars.

I now have enough stuff to install electrical outlets in the “dungeon”; the only thing I lack is the breaker at the box. I’m deciding on two loops: one for the computer/desk equipment and the other for major loads like a sweeper and treadmill. If the blog says I’m “Home” and I haven’t blogged for a month, maybe I’ve zorched myself. :)

I have been debating whether to get the nice $18.50 pew edition of the Lutheran Service Book from CPH or save up and get the $40 and $55 liturgy and hymn accompaniment editions. A new pew edition book is going to be terrible to play from on the piano. I’d like to be able to advocate using the new stuff, and being able to play it can’t hurt. The church we are considering joining has a Wednesday evening contemporary service; perhaps a Vespers service on another day would be a nice experiment.
