A day of thanks, really, to my Dad and to those Dads out there, but especially to those in-laws, babysitters, and almost-immediate-family who help Mommy with the twins while I’m away. You are truly indispensable.

I got some thanks myself from the wife and kids, in the form of BBQ sauce and books. Three were strictly for me, and there are probably some book reports in the future. Two are for when I read to the kiddies, and these books are illustrated versions of songs. One of them is based on Lonestar’s country hit, “I’m Already There.” The other, Daddy’s Little Girl, has piano music at the end simple enough for me to play.

The BBQ sauce is called Pain 100%. There are some good reviews about it. My favorite: Had it at a party recently and it shure as hell increased my beer intake.

Sounds good to me, but I’ll need to do some shopping first!
