I got a new cell phone, a Motorola V220 that has a built-in camera. Hopefully pictures will get a little better as I master brightness and zoom controls. I had to email this picture to myself, which involves a small fee. I aim to get help in downloading pictures to my computer; the USB driver isn’t working right.

Fried Cheesecake Fried Cheesecake
This is the first picture taken with my phone camera. This beautiful and tasty fried cheesecake finished off a dinner of breaded catfish, lump crab, and buttered asparagus at Prejean’s, Lafayette, LA.

To celebrate two weeks of good diet and exercise, I visted one of Lafayette’s premier cajun restaurants, where I probably set myself back about three days. At least I have time to make it up before going home on Friday. The dessert you see here is soft cheesecake in a shell that tastes like fried ice cream, but more brittle. The whipped cream and raspberries were a wonderful complement.

Not all cajun food requires tabasco.
